BluSmart launches their Charge app and makes EV charging open to all

For owners of private EVs and EV fleet operators, BluSmart, a provider of electric mobility and ride-hailing services, has released a new smartphone app called “BluSmart Charge.” The new software, according to the corporation, makes its EV charging network accessible to fleet operators, the general public, and individual users. Both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store will have the BluSmart Charge app available.

Tushar Garg, co-founder and CEO of the company, made the following statement in response to the app’s release: “We think the ‘BluSmart Charge’ App will be a game-changer in the EV industry, offering a seamless and hassle-free charging experience to all EV users.” The size and density of the EV charging infrastructure are essential to enable easy access to charging as we spread out. BluSmart’s extensive network of top-notch infrastructure and well-equipped charging hubs will support the quick acceptance and convenience of charging stations throughout India’s eMobility shift.”

New BluSmart initiative 

BluSmart, which already has a presence in Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR, has expanded its EV charging services. In both metro areas, the service provider is more well-known for its electric taxis. BluSmart recently opened its 50th EV charging hub in the nation and increased the size of its charging network in addition to releasing the new charge app.

The new BluSmart Charge App features a fast search for functional charging outlets and convenience of use. The app easily locates chargers according to the type of car you drive. It also suggests appropriate charging connectors and provides real-time updates depending on the availability and condition of the charging stations. Fleet operators and individual users will be able to utilize the same software.

In addition, the software offers a digitalized entry and leave process at their charging stations and a secure payment process. Finally, fleet managers will have easy access to a centralized fleet management system via the app, allowing them to track and keep an eye on payments and charging sessions from a single dashboard.

According to the company, their EV charging centers include over 1.8 million square feet of open and subterranean charging space. The business has more than 5,000 charging stations, both slow and fast. According to the corporation, these charging hubs are situated in well-known public spaces, including metro stations, corporate parks, and malls.
