Okaya EV’s Ferrato provides a preview of their first electric motorcycle

Ferrato, Okaya EV’s new luxury brand, will soon be available in the Indian market. The manufacturer’s earlier teaser suggested that the company plans to debut two motorcycles and one scooter. Ferrato has already hinted at their upcoming electric motorcycle, which iis anticipated to debut in 2024–2025. Ferrato has dubbed the electric motorbike “Disruptor”. It has a 6.4 kW PMSM motor that produces 228 Nm of horsepower. The certified top speed of the electric motorcycle will be 95 kmph. In the upcoming days, Ferrato is anticipated to release additional motorcycle teasers.

Okaya EV’s ambitions for Ferrato’s dealership network have already been disclosed. The company is preparing to open over 100 Ferrato dealerships nationwide. By launching Ferrato, the company not only introduces a new product but also achieves a significant milestone in the electric vehicle industry.

Okaya EV New Model

The EV maker claims that each Ferrato car will be the epitome of strength, intelligence, and power, providing an exhilarating and exceptional ride. This new action is a part of the company’s plan to reach vehicle enthusiasts and grow its market share in the sustainable transportation sector. “Ferrato’s establishment aims to provide consumers a premium experience and marks a significant milestone for Okaya EV as we continue to expand our footprint in the sustainable mobility landscape,” stated Dr. Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya Electric Vehicles.

We intend to create more than 100 partners for Ferrato, with a committed team managing sales, customer operations, and service centres. Our goal is to position Ferrato as the top option for discriminating riders looking for the ideal blend of performance and enthusiasm.” 

Okaya EV expanded its lineup to include the Motofaast scooter. The cost of the scooter (ex-showroom) in the Indian market is INR 1,36,999. The Motofaast’s electric motor is capable of producing up to 2300 W of peak power. The new scooter can travel up to 70 kmph in a certified manner.

There are three riding modes available: Sports, Eco, and City. With the use of LFP technology, the Motofaast’s dual battery system can deliver a combined capacity of 3.53 kWh. The battery set requires four to five hours to charge fully. The manufacturer states that the riding range is 110–130 kilometres.
