Ather 450S vs Ola S1 Air vs Hero Vida V1 Plus: A Detailed Comparison

The two electric scooters that are currently creating a lot of excitement in the Indian electric vehicle market are the Ather 450S and the Ola S1 Air. Both these electric scooters are the less expensive iterations of their premium flagship brothers, the S1 Pro and the 450X, respectively. Ather Energy debuted the 450S last week, with an ex-showroom starting price of ₹1.30 lakh and Ola Electric opened the S1 Air buying window on July 28 electric scooter throughout the nation. At ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the Ola S1 Air is the brand’s least expensive electric scooter.

The nation’s EV aficionados have responded favourably to both the Ola S1 Air and the Ather 450S. Ola Electric and Ather Energy are placing a lot of money on these models to take a bigger share of the Indian electric scooter industry. Hero MotoCorp is embracing the adage “better late than never” as it introduces the Hero Vida V1, India’s first electric two-wheeler. The first electric vehicle (EV) under Hero’s new Vida EV brand, the Hero Vida V1 has been anticipated for a long time. The V1 Plus and V1 Pro are the two versions of the Vida V1 that will be available; they will cost Rs. 1.45 lakh and Rs. 1.59 lakh, respectively.

Ather 450S promises a 115 km range on a single charge, thanks to the 2.9 kWh battery pack. The Ather 450S churns out 7.24 bhp of peak power and 22 Nm of maximum torque. It can run at a top speed of 90 kmph and takes 3.9 seconds to reach the 40 kmph speed mark from a standstill position. Ola S1 Air comes promising a 125 km range on a single charge. Powered by a 3 kWh battery pack, this electric scooter churns out 6.03 bhp of peak power.

This EV can run at a top speed of 90 kmph and can sprint 0-40 kmph in 3.3 seconds, slightly quicker than the Ather 450S. The Hero Vida V1 Plus has a 6kW motor and a 3.44kWh detachable battery pack that together provide an Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 143 km. The V1 Pro boasts an outstanding 165km IDC range and a slightly larger 3.94kWh detachable battery pack.
