BYD Auto India is currently accepting reservations for the Seal EV vehicle; however, the company has not yet revealed the reservation cost. The company is using its position as the official partner and official e-mobility partner of the UEFA European Football Championship 2024 (UEFA EURO 2024) by offering customers the opportunity to watch a UEFA match.
BYD India will select a select few winners who will each get a free ticket to a UEFA match and a round-trip ticket from India to the match city. Participants in this unique challenge will be those who reserve the BYD Seal before April 30.Â
Price and information of BYD Seal in India
During its March 5 introduction, the ex-showroom pricing of the BYD Seal is anticipated to be approximately Rs 50 lakh. With an 82.5kWh battery pack that powers the rear wheels with a 230hp, 360Nm motor, the company is introducing the Seal EV to the Indian market. The battery has a 570km range on the WLTP test and can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 37 minutes using a 150kW charger. It will take 8.6 hours for a typical 11kW charger to fully charge the battery.
The 2,055 kg Seal sedan can reach 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds in this configuration. The Seal’s dimensions are 1,460 mm in height, 1,875 mm in width, and 4,800 mm in length. The BYD Seal features a rotating 15.6-inch infotainment display in the centre console, similar to the Atto 3 SUV and e6 MPV. The driver also gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display. The drive selector and a scroll wheel for choosing the several drive modes are located beneath the floating touchscreen, which is surrounded by the central AC vents. The BYD seal will go on sale in October 2023, with reservations starting in September 2023. It is anticipated to cost approximately Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).
