MY2023 Nexon EV facelift: Range and powertrain
There are two versions of the Nexon EV facelift: MR, which has a 30.2kWh battery, and LR, which has a 40.5kWh battery. The LR boasts a range of 465 km, whereas the MR claims an ARAI-claimed range of 325 km. A 7.2kW AC charger is now included with both models as standard equipment. This charger can fully charge the batteries from 10% to 100% in 4.3 hours for the MR and 6 hours for the LR. In terms of outputs, the LR generates 215Nm of torque and 145hp, while the MR generates 129hp and 215Nm.
The 129 horsepower electric motor and 30.2 kWh battery pack power the 312 km ARAI-certified range of the Nexon EV Prime. In contrast, the Nexon EV Max has an ARAI-certified range of 437 kilometers and a 143 horsepower electric engine with a 40.5kWh battery.

With a discount of Rs 2.80 lakh, the top-spec Nexon EV Max is now accessible for Rs 20,000 more than it was when it was first revealed in December of last year. Discounts of up to Rs 4.4 lakh are also offered on unsold inventory of the Mahindra XUV400 EV, which is the rival model of the Nexon EV.
