Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a leading Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger manufacturer in India, has recently bagged a significant order of 1800 DC Fast EV Chargers from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). This substantial project, valued at INR 120 Crores, represents a crucial milestone in the expansion of India’s EV charging infrastructure.
Servotech Power Systems Ltd. Bags 1800 DC Fast EV Chargers Order from BPCL
As part of the BPCL E-drive Project, Servotech will be responsible for manufacturing, supplying, installing, and strategically deploying these 1800 EV chargers across the nation. The project focuses on major cities, with chargers being primarily installed at BPCL petrol pumps.
The initiative includes two charger variants, 60 kW and 120 kW, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024. This strategic move aligns with the country’s evolving EV ecosystem, aiming to establish e-mobility touchpoints that optimize transactions, improve availability, simplify discovery, and facilitate navigation for EV users. The overarching goal is to ensure convenient access to the rapidly expanding EV charging network.

The company had previously collaborated with BPCL to transform the E-Mobility landscape, bagging an order to supply and install 2649 AC EV Chargers at different locations across the country for BPCL’s E-drive project. Servotech has already completed 36% of this project, set to be fully operational by March 2024.
