With the XUV400, Mahindra has made tentative inroads into the electric vehicle market. The XUV.e8, which is essentially an electric version of the Mahindra XUV700, will be the company’s first-born electric vehicle. We have been discussing the car in great depth, and now Mahindra’s test facility has seen the production shell of the vehicle. Let’s discuss the design of the Mahindra XUV700 EV.

What is the new design like?
We can immediately observe the new front fascia design. It is true that the XUV.e8 has a closed-off grille, as is typical with EVs. The integrated DRL configuration and LED headlamps still require some large cuts. Other than that, the side profile resembles the Mahindra XUV700 nearly exactly. The XUV.e8 idea had the same design as the XUV700, despite the fact that the back is hidden. Remember that this is still not the production model, and that model may undergo additional revisions.Â
Interior of Mahindra XUV700 ev
There have been several instances of inside spying on the XUV.e8. The dashboard of the XUV.e8 will include three screens, as seen in the idea. Mahindra had previously said that these panels should have a high-resolution display and measure 12.3 inches. Touch-sensitive HVAC controls, rectangular AC vents, and a two-spoke steering wheel are among the other items that were bugged. There was a traditional lever and a rotary dial in the central console, which were likely for the drive modes. Overall, the interior design bore a strong resemblance to the concept version.
Specifications of Mahindra XUV700 ev
The Mahindra XUV700 electric is anticipated to have a number of alternatives under the engine. Rumour has it that the XUV700 EV will have an 80kW motor and all-wheel drive technology. On the cheaper models, Mahindra might perhaps provide a front-wheel drive system. Additionally, the Inglo platform has a front-mounted steering rack, which significantly reduces understeer.
Launch of the Mahindra XUV700 ev
Mahindra announced at Futurescape last year that its first Born Electric vehicle will be available by the end of 2024. The XUV.e8 is going to be this, and its launch is scheduled for December 2024. Mahindra appears to be on schedule for this deadline based on the multiple sightings of the car in testing. How about the cost? A starting price of Rs 30 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) is reasonable.
