Tata Nexon EV waiting time for November 2023

Launched in September of this year, the 2023 Tata Nexon.ev is among the brand’s most well-liked electric cars. There will be a six- to eight-week waiting time starting on November 20, 2023, the date of booking. With the 2023 update, the SUV costs Rs 14.74 lakh ex-showroom (starting price) and features various changes over its predecessor. 

The updated electric vehicle is available in seven eye-catching colours and has a sleek, modern design. Among other cosmetic changes, it has a split headlight configuration, a new grille, and redesigned bumpers. An indicator of the charging state is an LED light strip the width of the EV’s nose. Additionally, the electric SUV is equipped with brand-new, sporty 16-inch alloy wheels.

Tata Nexon.ev 2023: Mechanical Details

There are two battery specifications available for the 2023 Tata Nexon Electric: Long Range (LR) and Medium Range (MR). The medium-range model has a smaller 30kWh battery, while the long-range variant has a larger 40.5kWh battery.  According to the ARAI, the MR and LR models have respective driving ranges of 325 and 465 km, an improvement of about 12 kilometres above the prior estimates. 

In terms of performance, the LR version yields 215Nm of peak torque and a maximum power of 127bhp, while the MR version yields 215Nm and 143bhp. It is important to note that the power outputs are unchanged, but the torque figure has decreased by 30 Nm on the MR model and 38 Nm on the LR variation.

Numerous amenities set the electric Nexon apart, such as a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, nine speakers by JBL with a subwoofer, cruise control, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, Google and Alexa voice assistants, and more. Moreover, the higher-spec models come with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen.

The revamped Tata EV boasts a number of safety features, including automated headlights, blind spot monitoring, ISOFIX child seat fixings, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, six airbags as standard, and rain-sensing wipers.
