Since the implementation of the legislation, the city has added 4,000 EV charging sites, according to the Delhi EV cell. Additionally, it now operates 300 electric buses and will have 1,500 more by the year’s end. By 2025, Delhi will have taken a significant step towards lowering its carbon footprint and decreasing vehicular pollution thanks to the objective of 8,000 electric buses.
