Ola S1X vs Ola S1X+ vs Ola S1 Air: Ola’s least costly e-scooters compared

In this comparison, the earlier-released Ola S1 Air is put up against the other two scooters in this series, the Ola S1X (3kWh) and the Ola S1X+. On 15 August, during its Customer Day event, Ola debuted its newest line of scooters, the Ola S1X series. With prices starting at Rs 89,999 for the Ola S1X (2kWh), this is the company’s most inexpensive line to date.

Range, speed, battery, and charge for the Ola S1X (3kWh), Ola S1X+, and Ola S1 Air

As you can see in the table above, all three scooters are built on the Gen2 two-wheeler platform and have essentially identical hardware and chassis. As a result, all three scooters can achieve the same 90 Kmph top speed, 151 Km ARAI-measured range, and peak motor output of 6.0 kW.

These scooters have the exact same specifications, including a 34L boot and 160mm of ground clearance. The Ola S1 Air comes with a 750W portable home charger, which charges the scooter’s 3kWh battery in half the time (5 hours as opposed to 7.4 hours) than the Ola S1X (3kWh) and Ola S1X+.

Built-in technology and MoveOS for the Ola S1X (3kWh), Ola S1X+, and Ola S1 Air

All three scooters include three modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, as well as a side stand alert. The instrument cluster and the smart features are the main differences that are present. The Ola S1 Air, which has a 7-inch touch screen, is the model with the greatest features, while the S1X+ has a 5-inch screen.

The MoveOS operating system on both of these scooters supports Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, keyless unlock, cruise control, and OTA updates. On the other hand, the 3.5-inch display of the Ola S1X (3kWh) lacks these features. The S1 Air is the only scooter in this group that features speakers and music capability.

Price and availability comparison of the Ola S1X (3kWh), Ola S1X+, and Ola S1 Air

The Ola S1 Air is conveniently offered in stores and may be purchased online from the Ola Electric website. The Ola S1X+ deliveries, on the other hand, will begin at the end of September. Only reservations are accepted for the Ola S1X (3kWh), and deliveries will begin in December of this year.

The Ola S1X (3kWh) and the Ola S1X+ have introductory prices of Rs 89,999 and Rs 99,999, respectively, if you book one by August 21st. This widens the gap in price between these goods. While the Ola S1X series includes 5 dual-tone and 2 single-tone colour options, the Ola S1 Air has only 5 single-tone colour possibilities.
