Tata Motors retails 1 lakh EVs

The distance between the first 10,000 and 1 lakh EVs has steadily closed, with the last 50,000 being reached in just 9 months. Tata Motors lit up the skies with a breathtaking drone display to commemorate this momentous anniversary, illuminating its journey from dream to reality.

Shailesh Chandra, the managing director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., commented on this monumental occasion, saying, “Today is a momentous occasion as we celebrate a very important milestone of 1 lakh Tata EVs. This achievement makes us feel satisfied since it shows that our risky decision to go electric has contributed to the acceptance of a technology that would hasten India’s transition to net carbon zero.
