Simple One First Delivery Started in Bangalore in June 2023

The Simple One was recently introduced by Simple Energy, one of the top producers of electric scooters and a favourite among fans of electric vehicles. From Bengaluru, Simple Energy has started shipping its Simple One electric scooter. The business intends to release the electric scooter gradually. It already had plans to streamline deliveries to clients at launch, beginning in Bangalore. The company added that during the following 12 months, it would concentrate on growing its retail operation. This is accomplished by a network of 160–180 retail locations spread across 40–50 cities. 

On May 23, 2023, Simple Energy officially unveiled its eagerly awaited Simple One electric scooter, charging a competitive Rs. 1.45 lakh (excluding Bengaluru showrooms). There will be a Super EV Simple One model with a 750W charger. Price: 1.58 lakh (excluding the showroom in Bengaluru). In the past 18 months, the company has gotten over 100,000 pre-orders. Beginning on June 6, 2023, deliveries will start in stages, first in Bangalore. The impressive 95% localization claim made by Simple Energy promises to improve sustainability and lower production costs. 

What did the CEO of Simple Energy say about the Simple One launch?

“We are thrilled to start Simple ONE delivery, starting with customers in Bengaluru. We are all happy with the effort and commitment put forth by our team in developing a comprehensive good that offers our clients an effective means of transportation while also being environmentally friendly,” according to Suhas Rajkumar, founder and CEO of Simple Energy. He also said, “We are confident that we will be successful in providing a wonderful ownership experience for our customers and believe that Simple ONE will revolutionise the segment by creating a greener future.”

To guarantee prompt delivery and effective after-sales service, Simple Energy has established a strong distribution network and is collaborating closely with authorised dealers. Additionally, the business intends to build out a network of 160–180 retail locations to expand its retail operations to 40–50 cities.

The Bengaluru-based startup opened its new manufacturing facility, Simple Vision 1.0, in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu, at the beginning of this year. It has an installed annual capacity of roughly 10 lakh units. Simple Energy wants to lead the ongoing worldwide transformation to green mobility with new products in the works and a primary focus on R&D.

  • The Simple One runs the Android operating system on a 7-inch digital display. This product has a lot of functions, but it also offers over-the-top functionality, step-by-step navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, battery and range information, call notifications, and on-air (OTA) updates to keep you current.
  • One Electric Mobility shows its dedication to sustainability in the One Electric Scooter. By using electrical energy, this scooter reduces the hazardous emissions produced by conventional petrol cars. Due to its eco-friendly features, the atmosphere is cleaner and quieter while also fighting air pollution and noise pollution.
