Tata Nexon EV Max XZ+ LUX 2023 Launched in India: All Details Uncovered

The revised Tata Nexon EV Max XZ+ has been released by Tata Motors in India with a few extra features. With the exception of the Dark edition, this is currently the Nexon EV Max model with the highest specification. It costs Rs 18.79 lakh, ex-showroom.

The price range for the Tata Nexon EV Prime is between Rs 14.49 and Rs 17.19 lakh, whereas the price range for the Nexon EV Max is between Rs 16.49 and Rs 19.54 lakh, ex-showroom. The Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona electric, and other electric SUVs compete with the Nexon EV in this market sector. 

What’s new with the Tata Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux?

A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a redesigned user interface is included in the new top-of-the-line XZ+ Lux edition of the Tata Nexon EV Max XZ. It also supports wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity. This electric SUV now has an upgraded HD rear-view camera and a voice assistant with 180+ spoken commands and support for six languages. The same is currently available for reservations, and deliveries will start soon.

Battery, range, and performance of the Tata Nexon EV Max XZ

While the Tata Nexon EV Max gets a larger 40.5 kWh battery, the Tata Nexon EV Prime only receives a smaller 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. They produce, respectively, 127 horsepower and 245 Nm and 141 bhp and 250 Nm. The Nexon EV Max is rated to give 453 km on a single charge, while the Nexon EV Prime is said to offer a driving range of 312 km per charge.

The Beast Tata Nexon EV Max XZ

The Nexon EV Max is propelled by a 40.5kWh battery, which ARAI claims has a 453km range. A single electric motor that generates 143 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque is powered by the battery.

Launch of the brand new Tata Nexon EV Max XZ+ LUX in India

It comes with two chargers as standard: a 3.3kW charger that, according to the manufacturer, can charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in 15 hours, and a 7.2kW charger that, from 0 to 100 percent, takes 6.5 hours. Additionally, the Nexon EV Max Dark has a 50kW DC rapid charging capability, which is said to be able to charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent in 56 minutes.

The Tata Nexon EV, which is presently the most popular passenger electric vehicle in the nation, has helped the brand capture more than 80% of the market in this niche. Since the Nexon EV’s release in early 2020, more than 45,000 units have been sold, and they have reportedly traveled almost 800 million kilometers.

Based on Ziptron technology, the Nexon EV has also broken 26 records, including the Fastest EV to cover the 4,000 km from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in under 4 days.
