MG Comet coming to India in April 2023

MG Motor India is preparing to launch a new Electric Car for the Indian market, which will be the company’s cheapest and smallest electric vehicle. The upcoming Smart EV will be known as the MG Comet, according to the company. According to reports, the MG Comet EV will be available in India in April 2023.

The MG Comet is designed specifically for urban mobility. Actually, the company intends to provide such a mobility solution to the public through its Comet EV, which will help people solve the parking problem while also saving money on fuel.

Electric car sales in the country have increased dramatically in recent years. Many automakers are introducing new EV models in the country. And while it was previously reported that MG Motor would be launching its Air EV electric car in India soon, it has now been given a new name in India.

Comet is the name given by MG Motor India to its upcoming electric vehicle. This electric vehicle is named after a British aircraft that competed in the 1934 Australia-England McRobertson Air Race. The MG Comet EV Release Date 2023 is April 2023, so stay tuned to this page for more information.

The MG Comet will have front-wheel drive and a length of around 2.9 metres.

The MG Comet is built on the company’s new GSEV platform. This vehicle will also have a dual 10.25-inch display. Other features of the MG Comet EV will include a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, and autonomous and connected car technology.

The interior of this compact EV is its distinguishing feature. It will be equipped with dual screens, a large touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster. MG Motor India will make changes to this electric car based on the weather conditions in India.

The MG Comet is expected to have a battery pack with a capacity of 20kWh – 25kWh and a power output of around 40bhp. It has an electric range of approximately 200 kilometres on a single charge. The battery pack, like the Tata Nexon EV, will use LFP cylindrical cells. LFP cylindrical cells are lighter and faster to charge, and Tata Autocomp will supply batteries for the company’s new EV.

MG Motor India will soon launch its new electric vehicle, the name of which has been revealed. Yes, the name of MG’s two-door electric vehicle is MG Comet EV, and the price will be revealed in the coming days. However, according to some reports, the MG Comet Electric Car from MG Motor will cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh. The MG Comet EV is available in two variants: standard wheelbase and long wheelbase.
