Auto Expo 2023: Ultraviolette Automotive launches its new F99 Factory Racing E-bike in India

On Thursday, Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup, unveiled its F99 factory racing platform at the Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida. This motorcycle is based on the F77, but the motor, controller, and battery pack have been upgraded to produce more power and performance. It also includes carbon fibre composite components and a slew of upgrades to make it more race-ready. The F99 is the company’s first foray into high-speed racing.

The F99 racing platform from Ultraviolette is said to provide maximum powertrain output. It has a top speed of over 200 kmph and a peak power output of 65 bhp. Advanced battery technology, innovative carbon composites, and efficient aerodynamics are added to the electric bike. According to the manufacturer, this EV will support customisable ergonomics, which will assist riders with their riding posture.

According to Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, the world of racing has many obstacles that sometimes push manufacturers to innovate, and this new concept electric motorcycle is the result of that.
