Volkswagen ID.7 renders shows an Arteon Successor is on its way

The ID.7, the largest German automaker’s all-electric successor to the elegant Volkswagen Arteon, has finally been introduced. The formal presentation, which took place earlier this week at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, only displayed the electric sedan with a pretty unusual type of digital camouflage, implying that the final design of the VW ID.7 was barely discernible.

The creative graphic designers at Kolesa, on the other hand, have recently published two unofficial render photos of the Volkswagen ID.7 in all its splendour and without any camouflage.

The images depict the electric Arteon successor, which will have a remarkable WLTP range of 435 miles per charge and will be painted in a rather conservative white. Furthermore, the EV incorporates some design ideas from the VW ID. Aero concept car, which we covered last year.

The taillights of the over 200-inch-long VW ID.7 are merged into a black bar that spans the whole rear of the vehicle. Furthermore, the electric car has a black rear bumper, which was present on the ID. Aero but appeared much more elegant than on the ID.7. If this rumoured design is accurate, the design of Volkswagen’s newest EV will be a matter of taste, as the company does not adhere to the elegant design language that made the VW Arteon a real eye-catcher.
