Audi e-tron owners to get complimentary EV chargings till August 2023

Audi India has recently unveiled a new feature called ‘Charge my Audi’ on their myAudiConnect app for its Audi e-tron owners. This feature aims to provide e-tron customers with easy access to multiple EV charging partners, offering a convenient one-stop solution. Currently, the application includes five charging partners, namely Aargo EV Smart, Charge Zone, Relux Electric, LionCharge, and Zeon Charging. Until August 2023, Audi e-tron customers will enjoy complimentary charging across this network.

The company’s electric vehicle portfolio in the country consists of models such as the Audi e-tron 50, Audi e-tron 55, Audi e-tron Sportback 55, Audi e-tron GT, and Audi RS e-tron GT. Additionally, Audi plans to introduce the new Audi Q8 e-tron in India later this year.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, emphasized the customer-centric approach of Audi and their commitment to offering hassle-free ownership experiences. The ‘Charge my Audi’ initiative is a unique and industry-first solution that prioritizes customer convenience. Audi has been working on building a comprehensive ecosystem to support the transition to electric mobility in India since the introduction of e-tron vehicles. Dhillon highlighted the extensive charging network available to e-tron owners, with over 750 charge points currently accessible and plans to significantly expand this number in the future.

The Audi e-tron is an electric SUV available in two variants: e-tron 50 and e-tron 55. It has a seating capacity for up to five people. The SUV is equipped with a dual-motor AWD setup and is offered with two battery pack options: 71kWh and 95kWh. The 71kWh battery pack provides a WLTP-claimed range of 359-484km, while the 95kWh battery pack offers a range of 264-379km (up to 408PS/664Nm in Boost). Charging times vary, with the 95kWh battery pack capable of charging in 8.5 hours using an 11kW AC home charger and supporting up to 150kW DC fast charging. The 71kWh battery pack supports up to 120kW charging.

The Audi e-tron comes with various features, including ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, and power-adjustable front seats. It also features a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and a powered tailgate. Safety features include eight airbags, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera.

In terms of pricing, the Audi e-tron ranges from Rs 1.01 crore to Rs 1.19 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
